For the purpose of amending the Urban Renewal Plan for Broadway East to amend and clarify certain land uses, to correct, clarify, and conform certain language and references, and to correct and clarify certain provisions concerning nonconforming uses and noncomplying structures; waiving certain content and procedural requirements; making the provisions of this Ordinance severable; providing for the application of this Ordinance in conjunction with certain other ordinances; and providing for a special effective date. (Twelfth and Thirteenth Districts)
5. CITY COUNCIL BILL #11-0692/URBAN RENEWAL – MIDDLE EAST – AMENDMENT(Councilmembers Warren Branch, Carl Stokes, William "Pete" Welch)
For the purpose of amending the Urban Renewal Plan for Middle East to amend and clarify certain land uses, and to correct, clarify, and conform certain provisions concerning nonconforming uses and noncomplying structures; waiving certain content and procedural requirements; making the provisions of this Ordinance severable; providing for the application of this Ordinance in conjunction with certain other ordinances; and providing for a special effective date. 6. CITY COUNCIL BILL #11-0730/ STREET ENCROACHMENT–20 EAST PRESTON STREET (Administration – City Council President Young)
For the purpose of permitting, subject to certain conditions, the construction and maintenance of portions of a building consistent with the prior building projections, projecting into the public right-of-way on the east side of North Lovegrove Street of the property known as 20 East Preston Street; and providing for a special effective date. 7. CITY COUNCIL BILL #11-0744/ CITY PROPERTY – RENAMING HANLON PARK TO WILLIAM AND VICTORINE ADAMS – HANLON PARK (Councilmembers - Belinda K. Conaway, Warren Branch, James B. Kraft, Nicholas C. For the purpose of changing the name of Hanlon Park, located at 2610-2650 North Dukeland Street, to William and Victorine Adams - Hanlon Park. (Seventh District)
8. CITYCOUNCIL BILL#11-0763/ PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT – DESIGNATION – HOLLANDER 95 BUSINESS PARK (Councilmember - Nicholas C. D'Adamo)
For the purpose of approving the application of FRP Hollander 95, LLC, which is the owner of certain properties known as Block 6220, Lots 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41, and 42 (collectively, the "Property"), to have the Property designated an Industrial Planned Unit Development; and approving the Development Plan submitted by the applicant. 9. CITY COUNMCIL BILL #11-0770/ ZONING – CONDITIONAL USE CONVALESCENT, NURSING, AND REST HOME – 3549-3555 OLD FREDERICK ROAD (Councilmembers - Helen L. Holton, William "Pete" Welch)
For the purpose of permitting, subject to certain conditions, the establishment, maintenance, and operation of a convalescent, nursing, and rest home on the property known as 3549-3555 Old Frederick Road, as outlined in red on the accompanying plat. (Eighth District)
